Biography
Alan Dowling graduated in law from Queen's University Belfast in 1979 and obtained a PhD in 1985. He is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Northern Ireland. Alan was appointed to the post of Lecturer at Queen's University in 1992 and became a Senior Lecturer in 1995. His teaching and research interests are in the areas of land law, conveyancing, equity, planning law and legal history.
